Fox Red Lab Names

For years there has always been a fox red Lab in my family, and they have all been named in a similar way. Red Labradors Tess, Daisy and Bonnie were all given pretty traditional human-style names. It’s a classic way to choose your dog’s name, and one that works really well. But it’s not the only method. I am currently planning to bring a new red Lab into my family, and I want to give that puppy a name that’s a bit different!

The most important thing to me is that everyone in my family is happy with the choice, so when I’ve narrowed them down to a shortlist I will put those names on the fridge and let a family member remove a name a day until they have been reduced to the top contender. It’s a nice way to make everyone feel included, but importantly, all the names that make it to that chart will be ones that I like, so there is no way to lose!
